Fortune Frequency guide

What Is Numerology?

A beginner-friendly explanation of numerology, its common inputs and why symbolic interpretation should not be confused with scientific prediction.

Numerology is a symbolic practice that assigns meanings to numbers and number patterns. Many modern systems use a person's birth date, name, or both to derive numbers that are then interpreted as themes or tendencies.

Common numerology concepts

You may encounter Life Path numbers, Expression or Destiny numbers, master numbers and personal cycles. Different schools can define or calculate concepts differently, so a good guide states the method it is using.

What numerology can and cannot establish

People may use numerology for reflection, storytelling or spiritual practice. It should not be presented as a scientifically validated way to predict lottery results, financial markets, medical outcomes or other uncertain events.

Numerology vs. a branded fortune experience

A product can use number symbolism without following a standard numerology calculation. For example, Scratch Of Fortune's six revealed Fortune Numbers are part of its branded entertainment mechanic, not automatically equivalent to a Life Path calculation.
